Introduction - Every once in a while, a site comes along that is, well, not very good. That would be Boys Gone Bad in a nutshell. The basis here is guys partying and of course, jerking off, sucking cock and fucking. While there is some of that going on, not all the videos feature sex and to put it mildly, the downloadable videos are very low quality. There are better quality broadband versions that stream pretty good, but they can't be downloaded. Furthermore, navigation inside Boys Gone Bad gets complex at times. There are some perks to joining Boys Gone Bad however. 11 video feeds from some very good gay porn producers and full access to Circle Jerk Boys. Other than that, Boys Gone Bad is a very big disappointment.
Members Area - The inside of Boys Gone Bad is fairly confusing to get around. While there is a main menu at the top of some of the pages, for others, it disappears and getting back to other pages comes via a small 'home' icon. It took me a few minutes to find that though. The home page has linked icons to the 18 main videos, none labeled by the dates they were added to the site. There are ads here and there inside the site on particular pages.
Videos - Boys Gone Bad features 18 videos, as well as 14 bonus party videos. They come in WMV and MPEG formats, with only the low quality - dialup - videos being downloadable. These are of very low quality at a size of 240x180 and a 96kbps bitrate. The streaming broadband videos are 320x240, at a bitrate of from 225-300kbps. These aren't of very good quality themselves, but at least you can make what's going on better than the dialup version. For the few videos that do show some action going on, it's not too bad. This is definitely amateur content shot by amateurs though.
Images - There are 37 image sets inside Boys Gone Bad. About 25 images make up each set, and they are both digital stills and video captures. The stills are of much better quality and average in size at 532x800. They match the videos and for the few decent videos that available, the action is captured ok. The images can be saved individually, but there are no zip files available for downloading the full sets.
Final Word - Boys Gone Bad is a poor attempt at a porn site. Updates are non-existent as far as I can see and the bad video quality certainly isn't any kind of bonus. Some of the action is hot, as some of the men are good looking, horny amateurs getting it on. However, there isn't enough content belonging to the site to make it good. There are a few bonuses with a membership to Boys Gone Bad. These are 11 video feeds which are much, much better than the provided content. Members are supposed to also have access to True Twinks and Men Over 30 as well, but these links no longer work. I was able to log into Circle Jerk Boys though and that is quite a good site. Boys Gone Bad gets 1.5 Stars.
